Friday evening addendum (Mike)

We started out with pictures of sunrise on a glassy smooth river. After that, we expected a day like a Viking river cruise. Instead, we transitioned to an episode of Gilligan’s Island: ‘The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed…if not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow (South Pause) would be lost…the Minnow (South Pause) would be lost!’ Lisa & the dogs huddled in the corner of the dinette, as canned goods rolled out of the panty and log books flew from the dash board. Fortunately a marina owner on vacation in Florida answered his phone when I called about docking for the night and offered to let us tie up to his fuel dock for free, electricity and ice included. After bouncing around like a cork for the first few hours, the wind is letting up enough for us to have dinner and laugh about the days adventures. Even Moose hunted down his favorite toys and let loose with a burst of the zoomies. Alas, we learned a lot and tomorrow is a new day…
